Writ Law - Lawyers in Chennai & Bangalore

Writ Law Practice

We file writ petitions before the High Courts to seek remedies for our clients against state authorities when their fundamental or legal rights are infringed.

Citizens approach the government officials for a myriad reasons and when such requests are either turned down in an arbitrary manner or when such requests are not granted within a reasonable period of time, they are left with no option except to approach the High Courts under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking remedies.

A writ petition cannot be filed when a law provides an alternate remedy.  Hence it becomes important to assess whether a person is entitled to directly file a writ petition seeking legal relief in certain cases.

We assess the fact situation faced by our clients, understand the legal problems involved therein and advise and assist our client in filing the correct type of writ petition seeking the appropriate remedies.
